My first thought was GET ME TO THE SHOWCASE DE LUX, but then I thought of pissed up other people in fancy dress and reconsidered.

Yeah, I know it probably makes me sound miserable but having loads of other Eurovision fans in a cinema sounds a bit MUCH :D

I'm very pleased it's happening and hope that it's wildly successful, but it's very much not for me.

Would you be allowed to take alcohol? Imagine watching the whole thing SOBER!

Aren't most of the big cinemas licensed now?

I imagine it will be in the screens where you can order food and drink from your seat, and all the staff walking in and out will be another thing to annoy me.

That’s a hard PASS from me (between the loons and the masses bemoaning the politics, it will be insufferable)

:D Imagine the horrendous screeching, squawking and SOBBING when Lorraine and King K come on. Also most of them are quite troubled :tongueout:

Actually the last time I watched it EN PUBLIQUE was at the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club in 2019, when I got LOOKS for reacting to Hatari in the way one does after months of ascending, wilfully unmanaged hysteria. Quite honestly those in attendance weren't deranged ENOUGH! (Also there were quite a few awful people - not nice to say it but Aussies - who I heard saying, "The songs are always shit but it's all camp fun innit" :manson:)

So with that in mind, book me a ticket NOW! :disco:

Maybe (:eyes:) there should be some sort of test for anyone wanting to buy a ticket to watch it at the cinema. Nothing too taxing - just something like NAME TEN OF THIS YEAR'S ENTRIES AND GOOGLING IS NOT ALLOWED

Happy Fifty Days to Aerovision

I wonder what King K smells like? I've thinking maybe a bit sweaty which is fine with me but that could just be the appearance of that lovely pleather shirt he insists on repeatedly wearing :disco:

Honestly I do think it's about time we had a Scratch 'n' Sniff Internet!

I watched at the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club last year and the sound was DREADFUL, couldn’t hear a thing over the cries of HYSTERICAL WOOPSIES.

Actually it wasn't THAT loud when I was there. TURN IT UP!

I used to watch ESC at a friend's house but his housemate always insisted on having the volume low and you can imagine my reaction to that. We're not watching fucking Emmerdale luv!

The way he says "Cha Cha Cha" suggests he's a bit OVER IT. Hang in there King! 2 more months before :queenofthenight:
Sounds fine to me but maybe he's worried about being beaten by Norway. I know. How we laughed! :tongueout::tongueout::tongueout:

We struggled to hear in the bar we were watching in last year despite being on a table NEXT to a TV.

We’ll all have spent months crying and shaking with headphones at full blast so nobody wants the volume set at WHIMPERING when it comes round to the actual event
