Nobody wants to see a therapised Debbie Gibson presenting her hits at Eurosong. Also she’ll have a face like a popped balloon after the recent break-up. People ONLY want to see ABBA, BUCKS FIZZ AND LULU!

Why has NOBODY (except dub) asked me for bar and restaurant advice yet? :o

I’ve started booking some venues for the week so I have somewhere to go when I get to town and I’m not wandering aimlessly through the crowds.

I hope some of you are planning to book some places and not just spend the week inside a TENT!
 
There was one on the walk to our original airbnb, but now we're on the wrong side of the river I think we're just going to have to STARVE

It’s the arse end of the Wirral. You won’t want to do anything round there. I hope there’s a train station nearby for you!

Actually I lie there is one on the waterfront; but further up.
 
I suppose I'm hoping that Liverpool will be every bit as equipped as previous Eurovision host cities to handle the visitors and I'll be able to get a pizza somewhere without having to book a month in advance.

I was hoping you’d be our tour guide and would book and plan everything in detail x

Good luck :D

The city is used to major international events but possibly nothing on this scale, mostly because it’s densely populated around one part of the city. I fully imagine transport, taxis, venues and hospitality to be heavily under strain.

Two things you must all do

- go to Hope Street / Georgia Quarter where the cathedrals, the Royal Philharmonic, and a lot of historic architecture (and great venues) are.

- if the weather is decent, get the train to the beach. The coastline is gorgeous. Sunsets are amazing.

BABE, no one is going to LIVERPOOL for the HISTORIC ARCHITECTURE.

We all want CHEAP DRUGS and BAD PAs by LONG FORGOTTEN EASTERN EUROPEAN WOMEN.
 
Some hot recommendations for everyone from someone who has visited Liverpool at least twice:

- Take a trip down to the former UNESCO world heritage site to take in some STUNNING NEW BUILDS.
- Stay in Phillip Olivier's Yellow Submarine AirBnB (as seen on 4 in a Bed).
- Caught short on a night out? Fear not, Liverpool is home to some of the world's finest public toilets.
