A few years ago I saw Bucks Fizz live for normal heterosexual reasons, and the crowd kept shouting 'we love you, Cheryl'. This was Bobby Gee's version of the band, comprised of him and three redcoats he'd hypnotised into becoming his disciples. Cheryl wasn't there.
Fair play to him, he thugged it out and actually got the crowd on his side to an extent.

The moral of the story? Even if it's for the purpose of mockery or professional sabotage, nobody can ever bring themselves to shout 'we love you, Jay'.
