Eurovision Rewatch: Kyiv 2005 - 20.00 GMT tonight (28/3)

What I do recall was that Helena wasn't even on my radar before she won.

GAY SHAME.

I think this might be the most drunk I've ever been on my own at home before in my sheltered life.

I look forward to the day Italy wins again. We'll be lucky to be half way through the songs.
I'm still pushing for the challenge wank that was 1991. Barely any scoreboard with the presenters talking furiously in Italian about possibly anything.

It's so frustrating that Italy 1991 got one of the greatest scoreboard results in the contest history.

I was thinking earlier tonight that as I live on my own it's unlikely I'll get properly drunk at all while all this happens. Yes mildly pissed but you need other people around you to get properly drunk (well, maybe not in Madison's case)

Although Madison may just mean he's had a white wine spritzer which is more than he's done alone before.

I'm definitely less drunk than when I watched 2009 live at my sister's and we had a 30 minute argument about whether it was 'unethical' for me to vote for the Bosnian song more than once.

We're only talking one bottle of red. I'm sober enough to have compiled votes in a spreadsheet.

When I first heard Javine at our national final I thought we were in with a shot at finishing top 10

But then when you hear Helena... :D
