Playlist 3 of 3: dmlaw is giving us his "UNIVERSITY YEARS"

My playlist is the story of a night out during my university years. It starts with a declaration of intent and then music from 2001-2005 traces the different stages of the evening with pre-drinks whilst getting ready, followed by more drinks at some of Lancaster’s finest pubs and dancing at an Indie night. The evening builds to a euphoric peak before slowing back down to a relaxed end that keeps me feeling good until the next one.

While the music is more UP MY ALLEY with Kate and Iguana, so far this playlist is the most compact for me. I see that list and it screams a specific era. For me it was my first job in London

Top notch stuff this, Diego. The run from Chemical Brothers to Arcade Fire is absolutely amazing, even if I'm not a massive fan of New York City Cops. I'd not heard Pure Pleasure Seeker in YEARS, to the point that I'd forgotten it even existed when I first saw the title.

The Steeleye Span one is my only keeper from the Christmas songs, but you get bonus points for creativity for going a bit off-piste.

Also, You Held the World in Your Arms is one of my all-time favourite songs (and one of my best friends is the lead singer's cousin) so I feel like my overwhelming success in this contest has made @dmclaus pander specifically to me in the hope of high marks.
