I shall definitely be nicking that one! Could've done with knowing it on Friday when I replied "so some bugger else cocks it up, you two spend another three months cocking it up even more and now you give it to me to mop up the mess?!".

Not quite a euphemism but I’m quite fond of using “this is not my circus and these are not monkeys” in work situations.

I went on a date with a guy who used this about 10 times during dinner
