Voice of MIKE OLDFIELD and inspiration to CASCADA. What a career! :disco:

Moonlight Shadow the only one to do much in the UK, but she sold millions in Europe.

I like the other two, don't listen as often, but I love all versions (by Maggie Reilly) of Moonlight Shadow. ๐Ÿ’—๐ŸŒ”
This is her latest studio recording I think:

A few days ago I happened to get her best of CD Past Present Future (2021). ๐Ÿ˜Š I haven't opened it yet (nor did the guy who sadly passed before getting to listen to it).

I'd discovered Maggie the year before Enya (2021) but it seems that was the other way round for Mike Oldfield. :D

I also love the fact that Enya was originally meant to sing it but like with Titanic she politely declined, and in this case, giving Maggie her big break. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Oh and this has mixed opinions (and surprisingly many views) of course Maggie sings it better; here's early Enya (AI) singing Moonlight Shadow ๐Ÿค—

The 12" is quite special too :disco: ๐ŸŽถ

I like the extra lyrics at 4:14 "the last time ever she'd see him...the crowd had gathered just to meet him" ๐Ÿช„

Interesting (although she has re-recorded it a few times, also in 2021, the TV show decides to use the 1983 recording for the playback performance. :D

The 'one day' at the end sounds live though. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽถ

[Duplicate post]
Also she has a tour upcoming
