I thought this was SMASHING - it totally would live or die on its central performances and luckily they both ace it. There were so many points where I was shitting it for poor Jules. MacKay was TERRIFYING but totally fucking believable.

I also loved Jules' line about how for him his real life is the performance and being Aphrodite Banks feels real. Just a point of view I've not heard expressed before but I expect is quite true for a lot of drag acts.
