Cuba - I can see why one might like this. I'm not sure i do. I might like it after a second listen.
 
I'm not getting very excited about Cuba I have to say. It's fine. It may get a point or two from me.
 
There's definitely a couple of contentious ones that I hope they go through.
 
A bit gutted I missed taking part in this, I have to say! I had the perfect song too! Oh well, maybe round 2! Some good songs here, and some absolute tripe!

The rest might have some repeat listens.

Great efforts @Soldi .. couldn't make the live watch. Some proper good entries in there .. AGOG at some of them too! Even if it had a mixed reaction, i'm glad my entry had some love. :disco:
 
The one song where my opinion seems to be completely opposite to everyone else is Babylon / Maria Tambien - I just don't get it at all. Maybe Spotify listens without the video will help.
 
My dilemma for today. Do I give my 12 points to the song I like the best, or to the song I most want in the final? They aren't necessarily the same song.
 
Portugal - right up my street, great opener

Antigua - pleasant and inoffensive enough, it doesn’t really go anywhere.

The only song I remember of hers that I loved was Kremlin Dusk and this is just nowhere near as good :(

Ghana - fucking love this one. Love her voice, great song and video.

Australia - nice backgroundy stuff. Unfortunately whilst I am faffing with Excel it makes me want to SLEEP. Oh and HATED that false ending 30 seconds from end

Gilead - from the opening bars. What is this SHIT?! Is that burping?! It just makes me anxious, really uncomfortable. I don’t know if I have ever hated something so much?!
 
I like the Cuban song though it’s not my favourite. For some reason I feel like I wouldn’t want a cover version of an old known song to win a game like this.

I never knew the song at all until I was researching Mylène adjacent stuff a few years ago. It was never a hit in UK in any form was it ?!
 
It reminds me of those songs with cartoon animals that were on VIVA, a german music channel ALL THE FUCKING TIME. download the kleine krokodile on your HANDY etc etc. AWFUL.
 
Uruguay - Oh i LIKE this :D Quite dramatic

Saint Pierre & Miquelon - Electropoppy, bored sounding Scandinavian artist. Sold

Ivory Coast - The song is quite good, not a fan of the reedy vocals tbh

Georgia - another case of where the artist has done much better songs. This is just THERE for me. :( It’s no “Dead Disco”

India - She’s fabulous! This is rather fun :D
 
It's a great number to have - I'm about 60% 'like' and 40% 'meh', which makes narrowing them down easy. Just the order that I need a few days to let them sink in for.
