United to beat Spurs on pens after a 1-1 slugfest in the most boring Europa League final of all time (assuming they can make it past Bodo/Glimt :disco:)

I'm happy for Liverpool, they've been the best team in the league for most of the season. great achievement for Slot.

I'm sure next season won't be so smooth. I really feel Arsenal will have their moment at the top, the way Arteta has built the team into a unit is unparalled and the first team is so young still. Saka and Martinelli both just 23. Saliba too. Lewis Skelly and Nwaneri becoming beasts at the age of 18. Liverpool are ageing and likely losing one of the best defenders in football with Trent. and Salah has probably one more season at the top. I hope Newcastle keep Isak this summer and do not let him go to Liverpool

Going back to yesterday. Palace were amazing yesterday and they're in the final!

All reasonable points & I don't expect next season be a walk in park. I've a lot more time for a challenge from the Arse then City.

Me waiting for Everton to join the title discussion

HI GIRLS

Unusually I can hear Chester beating Buxton in the National League North playoffs. Either it's extra loud or the winds blowing the right way...

On to KIDDERMINSTER :rusty:

OT: Probably because of my job, granted, but I’ve become mildly obsessed with the Beach Soccer World Cup which began today. It’s kinda insane- loads of quick fire (often crazy overhead shot) goals, results like Portugal 11- 9 Paraguay and we’re in a world where Seychelles and Mauritania put up a good fight.

Supporting Walsall is an utterly miserable experience. We were 12 points clear at the top of the league on New Year's Day.

We've since had our best player recalled to go and sit in Stoke's reserves, gone 13 matches without winning, nearly stumbled over the line somehow on the last day, then Bradford scored in the 96th minute off a fluke deflection to kick us into the play-offs. I've never known anything like it.

Really shocking just HOW BAD both United & Spurs have been this season. They should be thankful the bottom 3 have been so adrift for so long.

@Jark The Arse have just got one back against Liverpool.

Everton might actually finish 13th now after a bad couple of weeks. Compared to Spurs and Man U that’s an extra few million in the kitty.

As a Southampton fan, how truly THRILLING to not be the (joint) worst team in Premier League history :D The bitter reaction from that Man City player was quite something. Now if we could get some points from the last two, we might not even be the second or third worst.

And that's about all there was to be thrilled, or even raise a smile at, all season, so thank fuck it's nearly done.

DON’T YOU DARE

although the most Everton thing ever (and that’s saying something) would be to lose their last home game EVER at Goodison to the team bottom of the league and already relegated..

I honestly think we're more likely to get something from Arsenal (who might not have much to play for then, I'm not sure) than Everton! It would feel cruel to ruin their last game at Goodison given we don't NEED anything from it now, but I won't be mad if we did :D

Speaking of Everton, they announced today that they’re no longer knocking down Goodison and it’ll be the permanent home for Everton Women

Most people seem happy about it except for the people who’ve bought a load of commemorative shite and now thing it’ll be worthless :D

As a Forest fan, thanks for keeping Derby the worst team in history

I mean Ms Rons dad has been watching the new stadium build on livestream so I assume most diehard fans wouldnt care bit if you did this to my team there would be RIOTS

oh honey. Arsenal away at Southampton on the last day of the season with only the pride of finishing 2nd to play for? it screams 5-0 (not to you guys!)

That sounds like something Ruben Dias might have said before whining that Southampton were big meanies for playing in such a way that allowed them a draw :D

(...obviously I don't think ANYONE expects anything from it for us but a battering, but if you beat Newcastle and other results go a certain way it's possible 2nd is already guaranteed before you play us and the gears might go down a notch, so you know, we cling on to our MISERABLE SHREDS OF HOPE HERE...)

Can't believe I have to watch football the same day as Eurovision!

COME ON PALACE!
