Football 24-25

Am I right in thinking that if either Aston Villa or Forest won in the end, they would have qualified for Champions league over Newcastle (because they lost to Everton)?

Forest were such a long shot a week ago as well! Crazy that all 3 teams lost on the last day with so much to play for.

Everton finishing 25 points clear of relegation was NOT on my bingo card for this year. Had the season started when Moyes took over, they would have finished FOURTH.

Forest only needed villa or newcastle to draw and win for Champions League but what a season regardless. Everyone had us down as relegation fodder and we have ended up getting Europe. Cant wait for thursday nights in eastern europe

Had a nice day out at Wembley with some friends but Walsall just did not turn up at all. It was a horrendous game to watch. I still can't believe just how much we've bottled promotion this season, it makes my head spin.
 
Drunk white man apparently. Didn't stop the cavemen starting on social media about immigrants though.
 
Want expecting Belgium Wales to be an absolute THRILLER tonight but here we are!
 
I was at the tail end of a long travel day so completely missed it but POOR WALES! I know Belgium have a couple of games in hand but North Macedonia at the top of that group is very :disco:
 
Have we had NOTHING about the women's football? We're literally in the final tonight!

They’ve certainly brought the DRAMA this tournament. Both the quarter and semi matches were like something from a movie script
 
It’s mad that they’ve won it despite only leading in the knockouts for four minutes.
 
I've not seen anyone discussing this but feels notable - Serena sent up traditionally defensive players to take three out of England's five penalties. Of the three, only Greenwood has significant penalty taking experience in matches. This presumably gave the Spanish keeper less of an ability to rely on the homework they had presumably been doing on more traditional penalty takers.
