Football 25-26

The mic catching someone shouting shoot just before that last goal was poetry. I love football.

Forest beating Liverpool at Anfield going into half time :eyes: West Ham also beating Bournemouth - the relegation battle is getting interesting

Old gravel bollocks has done what we need. Bulid from the back use our pace on the counter and let the talent shine.

You can hear in the players how badly it went under ange, the team spirit is back and were looking like a threat again.

@Tetris-Rock and I currently upholding the light of Islam watching an ebullient Eze hat-trick in a pub that plays the R Kelly version of Do What U Want :disco:

(choice quote: "@Jark will be happy!")

we're so winning the league. :disco: how did Eze have so much space and time for every single goal?

Same with Trossard rotating a full 180 degrees for the first goal. Like playing ‘beginner ai’ on Fifa.

A third of the way through the season and there's just 3 points between 4th and 12th

was reading the stories about behind the scenes drama but didn't expect it to unravel this quickly. Big Jim is insane.

:D at them sacking him now though.. not when they finished FIFTEENTH last season!

To be honest, it’s quite surprising they’re still sixth with their latest run of results.

it feels like no team lower than top four can string more than one win together at the minute. festive period has been rough. (not for Arsenal :disco:)

Playing Europe is a nightmare for Palace, endless matches against Croat and Icelandic clubs, for no reward and they're knackered on a run of preventable defeats.

You can obviously tell that Palace are better players than us and they’ll surely get opportunities in the second half. Just praying that we can hold out.

I can't feel too miffed. Obviously I'd prefer for a glorious Palace victory, but their form is awful, so I'm not that shocked.

Who can honestly deny a legendary giant killing? I'm happy for Macclesfield, it's just weird for Palace to be on the other side. They've always existed as the ultimate English football underdogs, but winning is turning out to be a poisoned chalice.
