Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story

Saw this last week. To be fair, in the UK, there have been numerous programs about them down the years, so there wasn't that much new. Mr Ag found it interesting and horrifying.

There was enough new content to keep me engaged and remind me what a hun Rose was.

The only bits I didn't recall were the home videos. Not sure or not if I've heard the police tapes before. It does rely on a lot of old videos.

Squarely aimed at the US audience, much like that wholly unnecessary Jimmy Savile documentary.

yeah I was kinda shocked to see it but then again Netflix has pretty much covered all the heavy hitters so they are probably just going down the list to see who’s next

Oh we've had some DELIGHTFUL MONSTERS. Savile and the Wests among the biggest, although the Moors Murderers and the Yorkshire Ripper are UP THERE.

They should probably do one on THE TROUBLES, lots of bomb footage and most of those involved are alive and out of prison, which is right up Netflix's street. Plus they can just rip off loads of BBC and ITV footage for a LOW LOW COST.

I did enjoy a recent one on the Vietnam War recently.

I recall it fairly well. It was wild it kept getting WORSE AND WORSE, most crime stories don't expand to the degree this did.

Murders aside, the part that always makes me scream in horror is Fred pimping Rose out and her OWN DAD being a loyal customer!

I have never heard that. I guess the customer is always right.

One of my colleagues recently got married to a Filipino woman after a long distance relationship. Visa all cleared and she’s been in the UK for about 3-4 weeks so far, but she’s apparently learning all about our culture through watching British serial killer documentaries, starting with this :D

There is one Say Nothing. Out last year.

Oh more American tourists for Gloucester then.
At the time one of my friends got asked for directions to the house by some Yanks.

It’s a footpath now.
