Our company does a Friday afternoon "meetings free time" (or whatever they call it). Why then? Why not Monday morning when it MATTERS.I have a 9am meeting and I’m presently still in bed.
CHAOS at the school today. Parents being sent away because the GENERATOR broke only to be RECALLED moments later. A sea of confused lululeggings and gillet and flat cap combos in all directions.
Is it lovely pomegranate?

We put my Mum in a home this year and sold her house. My sister in law filled in the disused pond in the garden with soil and made it a raised bed for selling the house. A few weeks later, one tomato shoot came out. My Dad used to grow tomatoes in the garden but he's been dead three years, though every year, random tomato plants appeared in the garden despite no one replanting and we laughed at this saying it was clearly his doing.
A few months later, the house had been unoccupied and when I went back the day before we sold, it was the most insanely huge bush that had grown, seemingly from this one shoot. There were so many tomatoes it was insane. I don't know why, but I didn't want to just give them up, so I told no one, but bagged a load of them, took them home and made a green tomato chutney which I'm going to give all my family at Christmas (as part of their gift, not the whole one- I'm not that SHIT) as "Dad/Grandad's Last Hurrah Chutney". I've just decanted them all this morning and tested mine with my lunch today and it's FUCKING BANGING and it brought a little tear to my eye.
Sultanas, raisins and currants are the worst things ever.
Nothing to do at all today, after a friend I was supposed to be meeting cancelled at short notice. So I've taken myself off to a local cafe for a couple of hours for lunch.
I love days with nothing planned. Can't decide whether to have a mince around the shops, or just go home and read for a few hours and drink a lot of coffee.

Can you sell your fudge in stores? If its expensive, you can make some money thereI just went to a local farm shop on the island, because I love a farm shop and wanted to make some island produce hampers for Christmas presents.
The one I went to is new, it used to be called Farmer Jack's and it was a quaint, rustic farm shop selling all island produce. They've expanded and moved and this new one is a big, ugly, soul less building, it's clinical and more like a supermarket inside, and hardly anything was local. Not even island fudge! And it's expensive.
So I left in disgust and will be going to the farm shop on the island that stocks all island stuff including our fudge.
Yes we can, we already sell in another farm shop and an Abbey farm shop. But I don't think I want to sell at this one I visited today. Can you sell your fudge in stores? If its expensive, you can make some money there
We make far more money selling in our shop than we do wholesale. And this particular farm shop is close to the other one we already stock at.Wouldn't it be best to try and make as much money as possible, particularly since you were worrying about being able to pay staff a few days ago?
