So because I’m off to Sweden in a bit, I’m staying at an airport hotel by Heathrow. I’ve managed to get into the BA staff discount sale and accidentally spent £175 on aftershaves. I regret nothing.
Also, I had an amazing lunch at a Sunday brunch place called Trattorian which I would THOROUGHLY recommend. The food was superb- buffet style but freshly cooked and top notch rather than the usual "bain marie" shite. Book, though- it was packed.
I had a run out to the tip today looking for records and some SILLY (surely gay) BOY has thrown out a whole load of old late 80s cd singles that are going for an absolute BOMB on Discogs. I bought 20 of them. Including lots of SAW and Eurovision entry “Give A Little Love Back To The World” by Emma, which inexplicably seems to be going for up to £50.
Even better, the guy running the tip just said “Oh give us £3 for the lot, they never sell”
