Christmas is over, 2024 is rapidly drawing to a close, so what better way to see in the new year by reflecting on the musical treats of the last 12 months

Yes, you read that right, the only rule is that the song has to have been released within the last 12 months.

I am technically not working today because 4 day week but my brain hasn't quite adjusted and I keep thinking of stuff I need to do.

It was -7 when I started the car this morning, fifteen minutes later I was still scraping the side windows and it seemed to be freezing again as fast as I could clear it. Once I managed to get the windows down I just drove like that, my face was frozen by the time I got to work. It's still -5.

I really must buy some blue windscreen squirt because my washer bottle has been frozen for days.
 
Have just turned on the television and must say how HOT is Alison Hammond looking? FAB AT 50 indeed. :disco:
 
Let’s talk ALISON HAMMOND. I have always LOVED her from way back in her Big Brother days but she is looking younger now than she did then!!

What the actual HELL? Driving in -5 with the WINDOWS DOWN? I think I would prefer to turn up late rather than get to work looking like I’D STEPPED OFF THE BACK OF A MOTORBIKE. In MINUS 5? You must be joking? 🥶

I was well wrapped up and didn't go above 50mph so it wasn't too bad, just bloody cold. I have a hairbrush at work. :D
 
It's just broken freezing point here. Was planning on a walk about an hour ago, but seeing people slip about outside the window put me off. If it gets up to the predicted balmy three degrees later, maybe I'll reconsider.

Whenever Mr Sheena asks Alexa about the weather, if it's three degrees, he always says "Ah, that's my [Sheena's] favourite number of degrees" to himself and it warms my COCKLES every time.
 
And YES, let's talk ALISON HAMMOND who has BLATANTLY been on the Ozempic, but is saying it's all Weight Watchers and earning the coin for it.

If ever Mr L hears the the weather forecast and it's mentioned, I always get an aah aah, ooh ooh and feel the same :disco:
 
Anyway, SHE LOOKS GREAT and is such a breath of fresh air to watch on tv.
