I saw a terraced house just outside Bolton for £60,000 a little while back. I don't know why everyone just doesn't move there.

As much as the people who work there should be championed, thanks to the ridiculous underfunding every fucking time I have anything to do with the NHS I just end up wanting to bash my head against a brick wall.
Got a voicemail this morning on my old phone from a GP, despite having updated them with a new number, who just said “Please call the surgery urgently”. A twenty minute hold later, I get through to a receptionist who says she has no idea who the GP was, goes away and works out it’s “about some tests I had, maybe as far back as February/ March” but she’s not sure what, I ask if it’s about the cancer diagnosis, she says “probably, but I’ll have to speak to the GP who I can’t get hold of” and “I’ll book you in for a call back but the first available is 30th June.” (30th June. FOR A CALL!)
So now I have basically two weeks to worry until I find out what the urgency was about, even though I imagine it’s just her finding out what has happened as I’ve not had further tests since my initial ones, which are being dealt with by the dermatology department at the hospital and not my GP anyway. And by the way I still haven’t actually been properly investigated or scanned because COVID has meant they’re not doing anything with cancer patients. FFS!
