Yeah, there aren't many other places where you can call Cilla Black a cunt and actively celebrate her death. I know people who post on DS, and it sounds fucking VILE.

They shouldn't be applying any pressure for you to go back in at all. One of my colleagues has a son with Cystic Fibrosis - there were ovations about getting him back in because 'there's nothing wrong with him...', but they got shut down pretty quickly.

There was no pressure at all, I think she was just dipping her toe in the water to see whether it was cold or not.

I don't know of any other forums that were KILLED by social media. Well I have sometimes posted on owners forums for cars I've owned because I like tinkering and fixing but you can't tag Angela Merkel Ketamine Disaster on those.

I suppose you could say I started one of the splinter factions, Chart Forum Refugees, at the same time as Moopy (based on the Dotmusic Chart Forum). We had a decent run of about 3 years maybe, and got several members that are here now.

I can’t remember what I got tired of in the end, but I ended up at Moopy and CFR collapsed a short time later.

I don’t know what that makes me, since who defected TO Moopy. Am I the Nick Clegg of Moopy?

i think it has already been mentioned elsewhere that the beleaguered spice fans left dotmusic and crossed the red sea to a purpose-built forum called denden. me and raspberryswirl come from there, jonfessions too. DC and Halli also used to post, but were here too

I think satisfying because Ryan & Joe was so awful, smug and thought he had it all nailed while simultaneously destroying everything good about it.

Oh I know it wasn't a rival. It definitely served a purpose. Haven was a rival of sorts, but not really.
