Getting the ABBA Voulez-Vous vinyl singles box set less than half price in the HMV sale = GOOD

Being mistaken for a Liam Gallagher fan when asking where the 7" vinyl was = BAD

How much?

Forty quid.

I should say less than half THEIR previous price, because amazon have been selling it for around £60 - £65 since release. Now they are charging £50.

Number 666, which may appeal if I choose to sell it on.

Finally picked up Robyn's Honey for £3.99 as well.

I'm seeing Cher in Birmingham tomorrow. So excited!

Hi moopy.

I have done fuck all work this afternoon.

In fact i've been to the toilet four times, walked up to every floor in the building (there's only 5, don't worry) and idly searched a lot of internet.

Might go to the toilet again

I've had a day off and I've completely reorganized the house. It seems much BIGGER now

Took a huff in work today but my gaffer felt it was totally justified so, hey.

Why have things got so quiet on the new members front? The last person to sign up was @Mrbig at the end of last month and he has yet to post.

Surely it’s been quiet on the new members front for years! I know we get the odd new friend but they never seem to last very long and I’m sure there can’t be anything we’re doing to put them off :(

Yes it has been quiet, but I thought we had a Twitter page or something running to try and drum up business. In all fairness as much as variety is the spice of life, I do enjoy our close knit lounge. :disco:

I don't think anyone has bothered with the twitter account for a long while

I actually like it being quite low-profile given that we basically have free rein to say whatever we fancy. Also, I don’t think we’re realistically going to get any more long-term posters at this stage, although there might be the odd waif and stray wandering in, desperate to chat about figs or carrots. Mind you, imagine all that effort of trying to get to know them. Exhausting!

I know I have said this before and for the life of me can’t remember the reason why we chose not to, but are we not better closing our doors and having a chance of older members logging in to lurk if we are unlikely to get new ones?

It’s always had the air of an esoteric SECRET CLUB anyway, so I’m all in favour of locking the doors
