I've just been NOSING around in MADAM's emails as she's off this week and I found this one saying "Both YOU and THE BOSS are eligible to join this SPECIAL FANCY BANKING SERVICE". Seeing as it was my bank and I'd never heard of it I looked it up and the eligibilty criterion is holding HALF A MILLION in investments.

Well it's all right for SOME OBVIOUSLY. RETIRE you old WITCH

I got passed over for a chance of a promotion yesterday so I am having to spend the day today pretending I am FINE and trying not to do anything TOO SPITEFUL. Thank god it’s Friday.

Dead quiet in here. The lights keep clicking off because their activity is based on motion sensors. Clandestine meetings happening in little corners. Off to one myself in a mo'.

See y'all later.

The top boss just APOLOGIZED for me for not managing to get me a LESS SHITTY JOB after I complained. Apparently I'm INDISPENSABLE in my current ROLE. Yeah well maybe if making sure MADAM has time for her SHOPPING TRIPS is the most important aim of the business :sour:

"Oh we don't have anybody else with the right scientific background to do that work" WELL NEITHER DID I WHEN I STARTED. Excuses excuses

There are only two of us in my office today. The phone hasn't rang since 9.15 which is very unusual and makes me think the phone line might be down. Because it's nice and quiet I haven't tried to ring from my mobile to check because if it isn't working that means calling the phone guy out and I can't be faffed with him either.

I am practically on self enforced 4 day weeks now, its great.

Well I might come to the office on a Friday, but I don't *do* anything. So that's like a four day week.

I went to see an optometrist yesterday because my right eye has been itchy and sore for a few days, it feels like I have something stuck in it. He found a microscopic cyst on the cornea and isn't sure what caused it. It might go away by ítself, but I should get it checked and have to wait for a referral to a specialist now in case a foreign object is embedded. And as if that wasn't anxiety-inducing enough (I'm squeamish when it comes to eyes) a fucking crow flew into our sitting room through the fireplace last night while we were watching Eurovision. Cue my partner screaming like a banshee and me trying to usher the bird out through the window. By the time I had pulled up the blinds and opened the window it had shat on the curtains and the couch. FML.

Well of COURSE darling but not everyone would bother to use the singular and they'd probably also throw in a LITERALLY (:oi:) so I thought it deserved a :disco:

Oh by the way I corrected the typo in "eligibility" while I was at it :tongueout:

Well done luv

I've been sending out lots of emails this week and OH! so many typos. I can READ, I NEVER SAID I COULD TYPE.

Sorry but my CURRENT STYLE SHEET favours -IZE over -ISE. I'm not JUDGING, CONSISTENT USE is the PRIORITY :disco:

Had my appeal hearing - downgraded to a verbal warning from a written. Best I could have hoped for.

I was at a piss poor Ute Lemper gig in Dalston last night

I've always liked the IDEA of her, but the reality has now been rubbish for the third time.

I saw that was on, and was tempted in a 'but I'll never bother coming up for it' kind of way. Why is she disappointing? I've always found her compelling on record.

Or at least DID - I don't think I'd given her a thought for about a decade prior to seeing the advert for the current gig run.

I really think that all Marlene Dietrich stood for is fabulous and that her talent/presence/X FACTOR is just undeniable.

I'd say the same for Ute Lemper. The charisma is undeniable.

However, this show gives you Ute doing a crap impression of Marlene or Ute giving you a crap version of Cabaret Ute, so it's pretty much the worst of all worlds.

Honestly the amount of FUSS that's been caused by my going to the doctors and complaining I was feeling a bit WORRIED. Now it's caused a terrible HOO HAH as they want to change the work health insurance provider and apparently it's on a PAR with CANCER in WE CAN'T POSSIBLY COVER THAT. No wonder people PUT UP AND SHUT UP.

I'm currently being treated to a splendidly tuneless rendition of Leo Sayer's 'When I Need You' on the top deck of a number 75.

Do you wear contact lenses? I wouldn't worry too much until you get it checked...

Hi, I'm Star btw :)

The only stuff of hers I was ever convinced by were the songs Scott Walker wrote for her. But then, Scott Walker could have written for Peter Andre and I'd have found a way to appreciate it.

Good afternoon Moopy. I am so glad it is finally the weekend. I am 2 glasses in to a bottle and I have only been home for half an hour. Oh well, the sun is out and we are having a BBQ for tea.

Any tips on an outsider who is plausible to win Eurovision tomorrow? I think I will put a cheeky bet on but have only heard the UK entry so far.

Democratic Republic of the Congo. I hear their stage show is the tits.

I'm quite excited for Eurovision. I hope the LOONS are otherwise engaged and we can have a nice CHAT about what we think about the show. I don't know why you'd even bother watching if you'd already watched each of the entries 100 times and endlessly DISSECTED them but WHAT DO I KNOW

I have stuck 50 on Sweden at 14-1. I shall look forward to hearing it tomorrow evening.

Have you heard Sweden @Rita ? I think it has a good chance with public and juries, but then it's Eurovision and the voting can be unpredictable.
