Ughhhhhh I hate Summer in Osaka so much. After my online lessons I walked to the park’s cafe to get lunch. It was raining so I had the idea to talk a walking video sort of ASMR rain style, but it had already finished when I left the cafe.

instead it is so humid I want to die, 88%! I don’t really understand humidity but that is too much. Apparently it’s 27 degrees but “real feel” is 34, it felt like an outdoor sauna. I hope there’s a bugger if a thunderstorm to clear this all up

Another meeting first thing with one of the senior leaders who is, as the French say, un absolute fucking cunt. Every day I feel like I'm edging closer to telling him what an inept sack of shit he is.
 
Is anyone else having Windows issues today? Microsoft before you START

apparently there was a critical software update released over the last few days, which I installed today. But now my computer freezes a few minutes after starting up. Except the McAfee thing which just HAS to remind me my coverage has expired. That gets through no problem. I can’t even open task manager
 
It’s ok, I fixed it using computer knowhow because Windows let’s me do stuff behind the scenes
 
I haven't noticed any problems with Windows, but if it had caused any problems with the Moopyvision Karaoke show (tonight at 8 for any FANS of FUN) I'd have been livid :o

if it does, it seems to have been brought in by the urgent critical update they sent me today. I restarted in safe mode and uninstalled the last update, now it’s fine. I’ll do the update a bit later

Ugh I have to work today and ooh we’re short staffed HOW CONVENIENT. I just want it to be the weekend, and more particularly, 8pm on Sunday right now :(

Suppose I’m not working on Monday at least :disco:

I'm hiding in Donegal (North West of Ireland) and it's completely silent out here with zero road noise and I think I had the best sleep of my life.

I live in a cul de sac at home tucked away in a residential area and you'd think road noise wouldn't be a thing anyway, but up here is next level.

We're seeing our new pad again tomorrow. I couldn't be MORE EXCITED.

Mr Ag hasn't even seen it yet!

We're gonna need curtains, which we don't actually own. And we're gonna raid the charity warehouse shops for some 'new' pieces of furniture. I'm in the market for a CABINET!
 
My work schedule is absolute bollocks just now - I'm in today and Saturday, off Sunday, in Monday, Off Tuesday, in Wednesday, off Thursday then in Friday and Saturday again. :manson:
 
Friday is literally DRIPPING. I'm sitting in a Beach Bar in Slovenia and they're genuinely playing Cher's entire Believe album from start to end for lunch time. :disco:

Never imagined the sultry tones of "The Power" would compliment this view SO WELL.

Some bint from the NHS has just door-knocked wanting me to order a load of those rapid tests and do them twice a week. She said that Covid's going to be here for a long time and "we" need to get the data from the tests. Asked her what's the point since everything goes back to normal in ten days, no masks and social distancing, and she just parroted back the "long time" sentence so I just told her that I had no interest in doing them. She didn't even have her own mask over her nose!

i’d say its worth looking on the app Olio as well. Full of stuff people are trying to get rid of for free. For example less than a mile away from me there’s somebody giving away 4 wooden chairs another with a table.
 
Whilst eating my dinner next door had a propane bottle and a pub-sized keg of beer delivered. That'll be a party this weekend then.

i know ! Round here there’s people who seems to pick up loads of reduced stuff and offer it. I suppose it’s good for people who are really struggling to make ends meet
I’ve used it more myself to give away stuff that‘s sat in the loft for an age and have no use for anymore
