I love all garden squirrels, pensive or not.
One of ours, who used to be called Brown Nose, has had to be renamed Broken Tail. Looks like he zigged when he should have zagged crossing the road so the half of his tail where it's connected to his rear end is lovely and fluffy then halfway down it's flattened with no fur and just drags along the floor. I give him extra hazelnuts. Black Nose and Tatty Tail still visit too, Tatty Tail had babies so I'm hoping she brings them round when they leave the nest.
