There's a lot in that, actually. As we move from prospect to reality, the notion of the gammons swilling back cheap shitty lager and celebrating with pie and chips moves from being darkly comical to utterly revolting.

Been to Fopp - new Smoke Fairies and Caroline Polachek, "Paul's Boutique" by Beastie Boys (which I only discovered I didn't have when I went looking for it the other night - I only ever had a dodgy tape-to-tape copy) and a nice 2CD 40 song Diana Ross and The Supremes compilation. £32 the lot. Ugh woke up late and then my Lyft cancelled after 15 minutes of me waiting so had to take the bus and ended up 45 minutes late for work.

In slightly better news, I tried oat milk in my chia pudding and it was much nicer and less watery than Almond milk.

I’ve been listening to the 3 same Atomic Kitten songs (Whole Again, Eternal Flame and Be With You) since yesterday. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
