I had a very cold bath. Not Andy Murray cold, but still cold enough to get my core down.

Massively peed off already. Welcome to your day, it's mainly comprised of stuff other people have messed up. Yes, they are all on your pay grade. Yes, we know they're rubbish quite funny isn't it?

Last day before annual leave! Ignoring all my e-mails and playing with my pussy until 5pm I really dgaf.

So broken by this year’s heatwaves I just looked at the weather and thought ‘oh, it’s only 29 degrees today it’s not that hot’.

ooooh. SAMESIES!

and not only have they messed up - they're also off sick so cant fix it themself.

I'm on unofficial shadow low key gardening leave now I think, which is to say I'm not being given new things to do, and the stuff I already have on my plate I can pretty much do blindfolded whilst juggling hot toast.

My brother is thinking of quitting his job and claiming CONSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL

Apparently one of the grounds you can claim on is if you've been GIVEN SOMEONE ELSE'S JOB TO DO ON TOP OF YOUR OWN which is EXACTLY what has happened to me *ponders*

He’d want to be very careful with that. It’s not my area of the law, but there are several ways in which that could be fair, dependent on what it says in his contract and how fully utilised both he and the other employee were. If he really thinks that he might be entitled to claim constructive dismissal then he should speak with a specialist in employment law urgently.

What area of law do you specialise in?

I'm not really thinking of doing that, tempting as it is. Let's face it MADAM whose job I'm now doing as well did FUCK ALL anyway.
My brother's case is different - they have put someone in place between his previous boss and him who is telling all his 'minions' what to do and recently spread confidential details of a health issue he was off work for a day having investigated all around the office.

Sounds like he should definitely talk to a specialist, or a union rep, if he has one.

Thoroughly enjoying this 30 degree weather today but will admit Piccadilly was nasty yesterday late afternoon. Hate to imagine what Central was like.

Why travel on anything but the Lizzy Line. Anywhere not on it - not worth going to.

Thankfully my commute is entirely on the overground. I’d simply REFUSE to go in if I had to get the tube in this heat.

The trams are down in Manchesterford next week and i’ve already been quite clear I don’t do buses.
