Friday kills all the birds

I didn’t get a bruise or any symptoms from my flu jab and now I’m worried it didn’t work.

This year's flu jab was fine for me, my sore arm was gone within 48 hours too. I did feel a bit off-colour the day after but it only lasted that day and I was fine after that.

My dad finally plucked up the courage to book the jab (needle phobia), I don't think I'll mention the side effects....

Is it lots of animals or just the odd giant/naughty one? My vet has to have help to hold Ridley if he's injecting him or putting his ear-squirt in so if I'm not there a nurse helps him. But it's always a nurse, never a receptionist. I'd question whether you should be helping to hold animals, pretty sure that nurses would be covered on the insurance if something bad happened but don't know about receptionists.
With one vet, it's every single pet. Dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, rats.

I feel like I'm not covered by insurance as well.

I really have NO idea what all these ASFM are about. Is it the same sort of thing each time where a poster submits a song and the best song wins? And what's all this about flags?

I THINK the flag thing is just a BIG GAY added bonus, isn’t it?

Honestly it's been going on for months now but it's all just gone right over my head.

Like now I've literally just put Dannii to bed, walked down the stairs and switched my computer on and there's another 2 pages of posts

We are a bit UNHINGED to put it lightly :D

I do not have the time to keep up with it! The sheer number of posts it gets just puts me off :o

I just have no interest in listening to songs other people have chosen.

But yes, the amount of posts would send my anxiety into orbit. If I'm not playing, I can easily avoid it though. It's not like when Eurovision topics were getting 2000 posts and I wanted to be a part of it.

He should be fine, it's not like a normal injection, it's the tiniest little needle jab for a split second and you barely feel it. You don't even need a little blob of cotton wool because there's no blood. I'm a consistent fainter when I have to have a needle stuck in me and no flu jab has ever set me off.

Excellent, a guy in the pub was telling him that last week but I'm not sure he believed him. Will report back an additional source :)
