Morning. I've had a headache in the back of my head for a couple of weeks now. I think I might be dying.

That's from a whole twitter thread about Japanese people evacuating their POKEMON before the typhoon hits :) :(

Don't they have typhoons all the time in Japan? Or is that monsoons?

I'm not sure I really understand the difference. Monsoons are more watery, I think.

Yay, off to Hungary in a few hours. Hopefully no extinction rebellion people booked on my flight.

Reports of multiple stabbings in Manchester Arndale Centre. Hope all of my fellow Manchester Moopies are safe.

At risk of appearing a bit tone deaf after a post about multiple stabbings, that should be all the smilies fixed now.

I just caught this on the news. I honestly hate this horrible world we live in sometimes. Manchester has had a torrid time over the past few years. :(

On top of the myriad of other medical problems Mr F has an ulcer in the bottom of his oesophagus and two more in the bottom of his stomach. On the plus side the hospital give you a results sheet from your endoscopy with photos of the ulcers on.

typhoons, though we do have a rainy season (result vary). It’s a bit weird to get one so late in the year, but this one is a bastard.
Typhoons are like hurricanes I think, monsoons are more rainy like you say

Typhoons and hurricanes are the same same. Just from different areas init.

Yeah I looked it up once and can’t remember. Maybe it depends where it starts.

anyway if they’re not going to close the school (while most of the students will cancel) then it’s a fat lot of good anyway
