This is a blatant rip off of the S Club Juniors’ Classic “If It Bleeds It’s Worth It” from the Sheena HOTLIST back in the day. It was a top ten SMASH, although their biggest hit remains “Your Love is (Jonathan) King”, natch.

Yep! Mainly because my friends are knobs. And my mum is far more chilled. But I must admit the thought of the canaries did fill me with dread.

My mum and I have a lovely cottage with a hot tub in Bideford.

I'd choose Devon over the Canaries every time. Although obviously the weather will probably be considerably colder. And probably wetter.

That's fine. I'm ok with UK cold and wet because I expect it. What I don't like is booking a hot holiday to Madeira and it raining all week.

I'm really starting to dislike abroad holidays now which involve flying. I have no fear of flying but I hate the tedious check in/wait/boarding/baggage reclaim etc.

I love a UK holiday where you get in the car, drive and arrive.

Although I'm also loving cruises from Southampton. Best holidays ever.

I can't say I've ever had an interest in any of the islands. They seem a bit "brits abroad" which I hate.
