Friday makes a thread but isn't prepared for the backlash

See above! Interviewed THREE TIMES for a job and then NO RESPONSE.

Also just generally tired from WORKING TOO MUCH, and little miss MODERNA 2 (the remix)
For the last job I didn’t get, I was interviewed FOUR times, the last time being by an INTERNATIONAL JURY OF PROTEOMICS EXPERTS. And with there being only one other candidate.
I had to contact them three times to get a response. Get a fucking grip Institut fucking Pasteur, you’re not a local family-run grocery shop :manson:

There has been an incident here a couple of months ago, with a woman that had to go through 3 interviews after of which there was complete silence from the hiring company, and she told them off on Linkedin mentioning the full name of the company and the HR person who went silent and it became viral, because everyone started appraising her for speaking up, posting similar situations, and condemn this kind of company behaviour including HR departments and professionals from other companies, a total mess. Not sure how it worked out though afterwards, so basically I have no ending to the story. :shy:

@Lucille Oh I know but it seems to be a very common bad practice. And there are even more.
Another short story, a friend who I work with, approached a company and over a 3 months period they've had 5 interviews with him. Once these were over they requested 2 telephone interviews, one with his current manager (!) and one with a current direct report (!). So to move on with the application he basically had to let know everyone in the company we are currently working that he is looking for another job. Anyways he did that, he actually did set up the two phone calls with the requested contacts and then they went completely silent on him for over a month. At the end and after his own follow up they offered him the job. And he declined. :D

They approached ME for the job as well! All I want is a simple, ‘thanks for coming we hired someone else, have a good life’.
IKR! I have Grindr for when I’m looking for that top only who will cum and leave and never speak to you again energy.

I have questions

Omg the glass washer broke at work, why is God SMITING ME so hard.

a glass washer?! Is that not just a tap?
The only thing I don’t like about the Palm Tree is there’s no cubicle in the Gents so you have to walk down to the TOWPATH whenever you want to do a BUMP.
No cubicles? What if you need a poo

I have just actually been chucked out of a taxi on a dual carriageway as I don’t have cash. Is this even legal? I swear to absolute GOD I will be getting someone to look in to this tomorrow as I have a text to say the taxi will take card. RAGING.

Even if it is technically legal it's a very poor show from the taxi company. What kind of person boots a lone woman out of a taxi at 4am?! Are pedestrians even allowed on the dual-carriageway (I know that round here they aren't allowed)? That driver put you in real serious danger of harm, either from perverts, murderers or road safety and needs to learn that's unacceptable behaviour. Report them to their bosses, go to town on them.

Glad you're OK.

He pulled up in a lay by at a bus stop on the dual carriage way. You are so right he absolutely put me in real danger and I don’t even know why he didn’t just take me to a cash point as straightorbroken said. He didn’t ask anything about money until we were on the dual carriageway so if he wanted cash up front then he should have asked before we left? The taxi company have been lovely and ever so apologetic but I have been a bit of a bitch to them as I want to make sure that he is reprimanded.
