Went to see Nasty Cherry last night, first gig of the year for me. Blinking flip, they were good - much better that I'd expected. Anyway, I have wine flu this morning so keep the noise down.

MORNING

Went to the gym as per, then bemoaned the uselessness of the NHS after extolling its virtues earlier. Despite asking for a GP appointment as a follow up to my endoscopy, I ended up with a paramedic this morning who isn't allowed to refer me for my stomach operation, so he now has referred me to a Doctor, which I have to come back for another appointment for next week, meaning this morning was a complete waste of time.

FUCK THE TORIES.

Is that a receptionist fuck-up or do they just patch as many people as possible at first call? They do that at my place, try and get you to see the nurse instead of a doctor. They don't do it to me any more because I've been signed off mental a couple of times.

I'd already been triaged and I explained why I needed a doctor. I wouldn't mind if they had actually TOLD me.

Not yet. There is talk in the last hour of blowing the banks in the next village (E.C) to ease their flooding but is going to cut us off in the process.
The whole thing is scary but surreal as fuck. Seeing my local area and folk in know and they homes on the 6 oclock news.
