Friday slips over on the ice

I'm having two zoom calls with Friends later today, a bottle of champagne on my own and something nice for dinner. Covid-times birthdays. Could be a lot worse. :beer:
 
On Uber Eats it's £8.49 plus delivery for a Boneless Banquet. They can fuck off. I'd rather spend an extra few quid and get something properly nice, rather than food I only buy for convenience.
 
I should wish a happy b'day to @Apocalypt Flyer and @Jacques seeing as they've done too.

I've managed my one assigned walk, off to pick up Thai takeaway soon. Oh, and Mrs. Indie has set up a temporary pub in the living room, so i'm off to the bar for a drink later :disco:

I’ve had wine delivered a few times since having moved. The shops a 40 minute walk round trip and sometimes I’m not seaworthy enough for that
 
GOOD EVENING MOOPY

I’ve had a ridiculous week at work, I need to go and pick up a click and collect from Tesco at 8pm for my Mum and I have nothing to do all weekend except the entertainment activities I have to keep her occupied, including Mexican food night (I’ve even got sombreros and maracas for the occasion), movie night/ sleepover night, where I’ve bought face masks and popcorn and I’ll stay over the night with her.

God I need a drink.

Well don’t HOLD ME TO RANSOM on this, but a sudden stratospheric warming breaks the polar vortex (which usually prevents the cold weather from reaching us) and can either bring us usual winter weather or cold weather (as you previously mentioned of course). The current trend seems to suggest it will get colder AGAIN next week but it’s by no means a GUARANTEE. You’re in a much better position being in Scotland for snowfall but whether it’s a bit of sleet and slush or a proper BEAST FROM THE EAST like we saw a couple of years back remains to be seen.

TL;DR - Don’t get excited about more snow just yet :)

I’m doing human geography, it’s mainly looking at cities/populations/politics/society etc but we have done some modules on physical geography, which is more of the natural disasters/geology stuff and included a module on weather/climate, which was the only part of physical geography I enjoyed :D

It’s colder than a WITCH’S TIT out there tonight. Super eerie too- definitely the quietest I’ve seen it since lockdown started. It was Christmas night levels of quiet on the street.

Solidarity at this difficult time. Our booths is next to Ron Jrs school but a bit too far from home to be worth going to just on a whim, so we’ve experienced a similar separation to you. I am here for you x

I always thought the the Media City Booths was too small. As long as the Knutsford one near to my parents is still there, I'll be happy.
