I have to call the police to claim on the insurance anyway. It's just annoying as they will ONLY send my new sim to my old address, and I can't go to an 02 shop to get one as they're CLOSED!

Were you MUGGED? Did you not have anything else worth pilfering? I don’t know what I would do. I would be absolutely FURIOUS but obviously couldn’t chase them down as I would likely be tottering in heels. This is the reason why everyone should have an @Soldi by your side at all times to CHASE THE BASTARDS down if needs must.
 
I wasn't exactly MUGGED, although I guess technically I WAS. IT was just grabbed out of my hand by a kid on a bike, and before I knew what had happened he was gone.

It's just super annoying, as I'm going to be in in a flat with NO INTERNET for the first few days/weeks, I'm hoping I can get a pay as go sim from SOMEWHERE, all the dodgy phone shops still seem to be open.

I’m not very athletic love, I was sweating like a fucking waterfall just walking back from Asda and it’s not even warm.

I chased him for like 10 seconds, and someone went after him on a bike but it was in VAIN. I wondered into Lidl in shock, forgot everything that I needed to buy, and just picked up 2 bottles of Beaujolis! My old landlord in back in town on Wednesday so I will have my new sim THEN, so just two days stuck in the new flat without a phone or internet to deal with, I'm going to have a DIGITAL DETOX, and try and read A BOOK,.
 
Make sure everyone sees this otherwise they’ll think you’ve died again :(
 
Luckily I'm getting A LOT of attention on social media from this, so I'm just gonna think like BASIL and take it as a blessing.

Assuming you are taking your laptop with you, these wifi dongles allow you to get pay as you go internet access in the laptop if you have a USB port, may be worth looking into for when you're without internet:

I am now scared to go out for a run incase my phone gets pilfered. Not that I see anyone as I live in the middle of nowhere, and would have my running shoes on so could put in a good chase but BY GOD IT’S THE THOUGHT.
 
Oh thanks for the tip @Iguana! That's useful as I can't get anyone in to install the wifi for 2 weeks.
