Friday, the musical!

Thassit. Subject Access Request, I think it is. Aye, we get them from pissed off customers who think they're going to get a bunch of e-mails with us going "lol wot a knob" which literally never exist. We also get them from fraudsters who want to know if we rumbled them and, if so, how.

I didn't know that existed! I'd love to see what is said about me :D

I'd like to request a FOI from every single Moopy member please.

I wish to advise that under section 38 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, the requested information is considered personal information and is exempt from disclosure.

However I will be happy to consider this as a subject access request and a response will be sent to you as soon as possible and by no later than one calendar month. :)

Fuck me, I forget what an absolute treat Friday is.

FUN FUN FUN

I definitely don't want to see what's said about me :D

I've just found a couple of questionable emails to management about this member of staff which may not go down too well.

My new iPhone has been dumped at reception. FUCK YOU DPD. I HAVEN'T WASHED MY HAIR SINCE MONDAY AND I DO NOT WANT TO GO DOWN THERE

Ah yes that's what she's requested!

FOI law doesn’t apply to the private sector - only to government, councils, NHS etc
I think there is some provision where a private company is working on behalf of the public sector. For example, I think you have the right to FOI Serco for some Track and Trace stuff for example.

I just don't get what people hope to achieve from this? We have an internal HR sector, and even if between management we had said stuff, HR do the main bulk of warnings and disciplinaries etc so it's all done professionally.

The Scottish Act specifically only applies to public authorities (it may be different in rUK)

Serco would be undertaking the work on behalf of a public authority so wouldn’t have the right to disclose anything as they don’t own the info/data. I think you would need to submit a FOI the public authority which the info belongs to. It may be the case that Serco would then pass the info to the public authority to disclose.

Fuck me what a dull profession I work in.

I've had TWO coffees after lunch and I'm still nodding off every other minute. It's just too hard trying to resist taking nap while working from home.

I can't not nap if I work from home. it's so boring my brain just muddles. thankfully I get to go in these days. crash the minute I come home instead though...

It is SUCH a good feeling. Well done!
After Access and my Undergrad this has been such a dismal experience, mostly due to Covid.

There's still a PhD in me I'm sure of it. Have been reassessing my options of late. If I can retrain to teach adult education, then I can support a PhD like that.

I BASICALLY NEVER WANT TO LEAVE EDUCATION.

I will have one eye on Lucy's hole, but will mostly be focused on zooming my best mates with too much wine alas

please report back! the last big update messed up my battery life, something about booting up at random to run processes, which would lead to huge drops in battery life between uses. it was so frustrating!

Early days... will try to!

So far it seems stable but the appearance.... I'll give it a chance and say it's going to take some getting used to but really that's code for IT'S GHASTLY

OH MY, it's got wood.
