Friday's better SOLO SOLO!

I'm working today and tomorrow, no 4 day weekends for me anymore. I'm hoping we have a nice busy weekend 🤞

Going to London for the Easter weekend :disco:

Wanted to go to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern but one night is BEARS night and the other is a lesbian/trans night and no cis men allowed :D

Good morning! The weather is lovely here, hopefully it's like this all weekend

Go to The Retro Bar instead if it’s still open. I’ve not been in years so it might be shite these days but I always liked it :disco:

A strong 14 degrees today. A wee trip down to one of the riverside towns/ villages I think.

Ooh it is I’ll give it a go!

Obviously I take no responsibility if it turns out to be rancid :tongueout:

Anyway it can’t be as bad as Halfway To Heaven which is just down the road. Or the (shudder) G-A-Y BAR

I can't believe my colleagues are STILL trying to sell me Harry Potter World and the indoor skiing centre each time I'm there :eyes:
Marlowes always had some stunning boutiques and that ten mile walk from the town centre to the station (and apparently no bus service) is an exceptional treat which you’d not get in so-called upmarket areas such as South Kensington :disco:

Those poor Lithuanian colleagues of ours who stayed in Hemel for the weekend thinking they could easily get to London. They had to learn the hard way, a two hour walk to the train station and bien sûr no bus service.

What IS the routine with there being no bus service? I went to HH a few years ago for a questionable trip down memory lane and I remember the walk back to the station being problematic for some physical reason or another: probably FEET POURING WITH BLOOD

Bright, clear and cold here - looks like it could warm up. Not so much sleep after last night's hot gig action; 'twas all way too thrilling for my fragile ass.

For any drivers visiting Hemel the magic roundabout is a must! Or why not hop on a bus and visit HMP The Mount, just a hop, skip and a jump from town. Take a scenic walk around the prison fence then visit Bovingdon market on the old airfield.

I'd panic if I had to drive around the magic roundabout!

Last year on Good Friday I had the stomach pains that sent me to bed until Tuesday so I was quite looking forward to a lovely long weekend, chinese at mum's tonight, surprise not-a-baby-shower baby shower tomorrow and a day of rest on Sunday. Last night at 8pm I discovered that the chemist hadn't delivered Mr F's Pregabalin tablets with the rest of his prescription and they aren't open again till Tuesday so he had to do without last night. He's currently suffering through rigors in the dark bedroom and will ring 111 once his teeth stop chattering. Then he'll have to wait for an out-of-hours GP to ring him to organise an emergency prescription for four days' worth of tablets to be sent to a 24 hour pharmacy which I will then have to drive to collect.

So I'm having to go to the supermarket on my own to buy party food and will have to prepare it all on my own. Not impressed in the slightest.

Fucking glorious. We’re off camping with gang for the weekend. Kids look after themselves, adults get shit canned. Wholesome.

3 mums out of 4 have asked me to bring mushrooms and its not even lunchtime

What a gorgeous day. I am preparing some mimosa’s and am heading out for a day in the garden to get my vitamin D fix in the sun.

TITS OUT FOR THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS

Omg I am exhausted 😳 we were unbelievably busy, busier than a lot of days in the summer last year.

Big mistake to staff the shop with just me and Mandy 🤦🏻‍♀️

I saw an exciting Jean Cocteau cushion in the window of ROCHE BOBOIS today and thought, well, that's probably a bit steep but I'd consider paying 50 quid max

TWO HUNDRED QUID!

Maybe I'll buy this one as a special reward if I manage to keep off the fags for the next fortnight

My nan was told she has terminal cancer a couple of weeks ago, i'm gutted as its not even been a year since my mum's mum died. I feel very worried about my dad as he was already in a depressed state after the stroke and now this has happened. He's got 2 sisters and 2 brothers around him and me but its still hard to know what the hell to say
