Friday's feeling hot hot hot

Though I never said it, the common one in parlance at our school was “sweating like a black man on a rape charge”, which I always found to be an astute comment on the racist hierarchy of institutes in Britain rather than just plain nasty.

Morning. Had one terrible date last night followed by one great one with a guy AND his mate. Not sure which one I like more but might suggest a THROUPLE.

I like Frankie Boyle's "sweating like Peter Andre on "Countdown" - which has multiple possible variations.

I’m having a man round to clean my oven today (not a euphemism). I’m feeling quite anxious and might have to clean it myself first.

I'm sure he'll have seen worse! We had someone do this a couple of weeks ago and he conned @Tisch into getting him basically to do a full kitchen deep clean

No chance, mine is already spotless and I’ve got a lunch appointment at 2

I still hear people saying that every now and again :(

Shee is right tho' - in Glasgow, thanks to sectarianism, we had "sweating like an Irishman in a police station" which was social comment rather than anti-Irish racism. The principle was the same but with similar room for people who were prejudiced to run off with it.

i'm off surfing for the weekend which sounds fun in theory but we're staying in a surfing hostel and i'm worried it's going to be filled with straight guys.

might pretend to be sick.

So TIRED! But I hauled myself the 300 metres up to the green to lie in the sun for a bit. So brave.

I'm having an "inbox Friday". Usually that just means staring at the inbox but this week I'm actually trying to clear mine out. Dull.
