TOOTHBRUSH UPDATE:

I found I can turn off my brush to SPIT and then turn it back on and it will know it was only a temporary stop, not the end of the brushing session and continue to make sure I get 30 second 'change quadrant' updates and the happy flashing lights when I stop after 2 mins.

I can also connect it to my phone, apparently.
