I never take holidays during the summer because everywhere is just a mess with kids hanging about all over the place, making a racket/mess. At least I'm not responsible for any of 'em on an individual basis.

Both of mine are pretty self sufficient these days. My daughter is usually out working or spending time with her boyfriend, and my son only usually surfaces for food. I would say he will rarely see AM on the clock throughout the holidays.
