Some pollster or other is going to end up with EGG on their FACE next Friday, but WHO WILL IT BE?

Sadly I think it’s far more likely that polls are underestimating the Tory vote rather than accurately predicting last minute Labour gains, but let’s hope I am WRONG!

Isn’t the problem that the tories are consistently polling around 42%? Labour really aren’t eating in to the Tory vote at all, instead they’ve probably squeezed the Lib Dem vote as much as they possibly could.

I mean, not really. Every poll has a margin of error - the likelihood is the real result will come out somewhere between those two extremes.

Already been posted but:

this is just unbelievable. i honestly feel like i'm in a simulation and they're trying to make me crazy.

how have these people been brainwashed to this exent? is mass media really such a trip? what the actual fuck.

Never under-estimate the stupidity of people. The Tories know how to flip people's switches and they don't care what they need to do or say to do it, as long as the results keep them in power.

Also, they have shitloads of money to spend on digital ads. Basically everyone who went on Youtube from the UK the other day would have seen an ad for the Conservatives about getting Brexit over and done with. The Tories have the money to put behind ads to spread their messaging (and attack lines against the opposition) more than any other party. Pair that with traditional media being more sympathetic towards them than other parties (to put it lightly) and it's no wonder they've been able to get people parroting their message.

I got a ‘The Cost of Corbyn’ ad linking to a Conservative propaganda site while playing TOWNSHIP* today.

It’s so fucking sinister.

* One of those crappy but addictive mobile games that force you to watch endless adverts or spend actual money on in-app purchases to keep playing.

I've had Conservative ads on YouTube today. Marginally better than seeing the Brexit bus going down the main road, I suppose.

I don't really see any ads. I'm a right one for ADBLOCKS and DECLINING COOKIES

I was inundated on Facebook and Instagram with ads for the Bournemouth Tory candidate, noncey (allegedly) Connor Burns. Very gross especially since I’m not even in his constituency.

Yeah I keep getting ones from other constituency. Pretty sure I don't even where Altrincham is.

I appreciate that I’m in one of the safest Labour seats in the country and the money is better spent in the marginals, but I haven’t had so much as a leaflet from Hilary Benn so far.

I have had them from Conservative, Brexit Party, the Greens and the Social Democrats (pro-Brexit local concern)

I read an article today about Boris running the risk of not winning his seat, and apparently a Prime minister has to win their seat since party leaders don’t get voted in automatically. Now I have my hopes up (for nothing, I’m sure).

It seems very unlikely.

I wonder if there'll be any good surprises next week.

If Raab and Duncan-Smith get the boot (as seems more than possible) that would be a bonus but it would be hollow if Boris can still form a government.

Just seen this on Twitter. Absolutely horrifying. Beyond contempt.

Has he taken a bet to see how badly he can run a campaign and still win a majority?

Is he still claiming to be sober until Brexit is done, as those bleary eyes look like he's been smashing the port all weekend.

I really feel like he's testing how AWFUL he can be as a precedent for the next series of Handmaids Tale UK*

*starts this Friday.

She has no time for this shit.

They really don't stand up to a breath of scrutiny.

...and these are the people they'll let into a serious political interview. No wonder Boris shat it off Andrew Neil.
