I can recall at least THREE exciting experiences I have had in and around Wrexham so GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, DON'T DIE!

do we have any moopy bristolians? I think I want to go to Bristol at some point and have been seduced by some pretty pictures I saw online. is it a FUN CITY? is the famous ART SCENE as EXCITING as they say? if I take a Cross Country service to get there will I make love on a train, cross-country? please advise.

Yes

And I recommend everything except Cross Country trains.

Good luck getting any sex on one other than some accidental light frottage.

I mean it's got beautiful parts. But there are a lot of other cities which probably have stronger claim to that epithet.

I'm on the BUS to WREXHAM in my search for EXCITING NEW EXPERIENCES

It's a bit of a BONESHAKER
Pfft

Test drive the car, seems great. Sit down, have a cup of coffee, go through 1000 extra insurance products, discuss when it could be delivered and how to pay. EVENTUALLY I get to say IS THERE ANY ROOM FOR NEGOTIATION ON THE PRICE? Salesman goes off, comes back and says NO PLUS YOU HAVE TO PAY £440 EXTRA LUXURY CAR TAX A YEAR AS THE ORIGINAL LIST PRICE WAS ABOVE £50K.

Fuck THAT

KET CAPITAL OF THE UK is all I have to offer in terms of Bristol. Do with that info as you wish.

Just been for eye tests. Mine are fine, distance vision is only slightly worse than last time, near vision much worse but I'd already guessed I needed a new prescription due to my arms not being long enough to read small writing even with my glasses on. Ordered myself some new bins, ready in a fortnight.

Mr F has a big thick cataract and scar tissue in his repaired-retina eye so he gets an operation instead of new glasses. His other eye is slightly better now though, probably due to compensating for the bad one.

Loved Bristol when I visited last month, but the seagull population puts every seaside town in the country to shame. What is going on there?!

What can I say? We're a city of sanctuary, and don't exclude seagulls.

You'll never find me walking around the harbourside openly eating anything though, at least not in summer when they are most fierce.

Been shat on multiple times as well. Although most recently in Cardiff, where they are also numerous and evil.

Bristol is really very nice in parts. It's got a unique charm, but only in the same way other liberal cities across the UK have got unique charms.

Let's face it, every liberal city has really sketchy bits. I suppose every city (of any size, at least) has sketchy bits. It's part and parcel of being a city.

I really need to get myself down to Brissle. It gets compared to Liverpool a lot and I need to see it for myself.

I've never been to Liverpool to compare. But I suppose the obvious comparison is as maritime hubs. And that we were at different times both the heart of the slave trade in the 19th century. And the uncomfortable truth that a lot of the wealth stems from that. Certainly here.

I was thinking more the culture and the left wing thing but yikes :D that too
