No recollection of either tbh.But aren’t there any dance remixes of Jesus to a Child and Older? I’d like to think that there were some back in the day

Speaking of remixes, the '97 remix of Star People is CHEF'S KISS.

Listening to the expanded version now… that live version of The Strangest Thing!

And who gives a FUCK about your problems darling,That bit from 3'40" onwards where it goes into a new extended coda is INCREDIBLE
Do you really think you've got it so hard?
HUH?

I have listened to the live version of The Strangest Thing about a hundered times since the weekend. I realised it the version from the MTV Unplugged but I don’t think I had access to it before on Spotify. So beautiful, so sad, I love him so much (can’t believe he died before marrying me etc.)![]()
Same reason as why 'Fantasy' was on there as well.I don't really understand why the MTV Unplugged tracks were added on to the Listen Without Prejudice re-release, when the concert was in the same year as Older was released.
Added to that, the live version of Fastlove is no longer available and The Strangest Thing is Spotify only!
Same reason as why 'Fantasy' was on there as well.
Messy people handling his legacy. Worst than Madonna's team to be honest.
It’s a mix of everything it seems. And what’s this Older & Upper thing? I don’t think I’ve seen it before.

The Fastlove single had "I'm Your Man '96" on it, but that's probably not what you're after![]()
Getting a video on the CD single was such a thrill ride.
Why haven’t I seen that before?
And why can’t we have some more (modern) remixes of all these songs?
There's an LF system remix of Fastlove with a few others to follow on 7th October but all are exclusive to Amazon.
It's dirty tricks because the original vinyl release date keeps getting 'pushed back' and then they want to maximise it with streaming impact.Sorry, how is it dirty tricks?
No - I pre-ordered the vinyl with a different release date months ago and it kept getting 'pushed back' until, interestingly, all the vinyls were delivered the week that it was out on Spotify - i.e. chart impact was all pushed back to that one week.Sorry, I still don't understand - but everything was out in the first week?
I guess you can hardly blame them.No - I pre-ordered the vinyl with a different release date months ago and it kept getting 'pushed back' until, interestingly, all the vinyls were delivered the week that it was out on Spotify - i.e. chart impact was all pushed back to that one week.
