Get your hands off my woman mothering Sunday

Yo yo yo who dat be?
It’s @Manitoba Marketing Board on the M-I-C

I posted my new sumo video, had a shower, made an omelette and did my ironing before noon before my friend could pick me up to go to IKEA, except he didn’t come, finally I called after a few messages at 2pm, no answer, he called me back to say he was at work and we were going tomorrow, which I then remembered :)

Ughhhhh I could’ve gone to see the cherry blossoms but now I’m meeting another friend because he’s moving

I slept for twelve hours last night :disco:

10 for me, which has been standard these past few days but much needed. :disco:

Four more days of work and then I've got 10 days off - just sucks that we're supposed to get a ton of snow here next weekend. :D

:RavenQueen:

Five hours sleep for me last night. Six seems to be the norm recently so this is an unwelcome turn :zombie:

That was me November until last week.

Unpleasant and clearly not enough.

Gosh little Kylie just dialed 999 :o
I dialled 911 in America when I was a little tot and when the police came I hid under a table. When my mum explained what had happened they still stayed outside watching the house from their car because they thought she had lied and was in danger :o

My sister and I prank called the police when we were kids and almostly instantly hung up. Then they called back, my mum answered, and we got told off :(

Ended up spending a while reorganising the CDs last night. One of those jobs that has just grown and grown over the years and has now become almost silly. A-E will be in proper storage boxes, allowing for easy access. Everything else will be shelved. Nurse With Wound will have their own section in the shelving. Plan is currently to but some shelves to have a mini Fall shrine in the front room.

This is what middle age looks like, folks. Brace yrselves.

I occasionally called the operator on 100 or directory enquiries on 192 from public phone boxes and SCREAMED DOWN THE PHONE. (I think this indicates a terrible, traumatic childhood feat. unexpressed emotions because why would you otherwise.) Luckily the police were never alerted :)

I’m collecting some new spectacles today and I’m a bit worried about them as they’re Hugo Boss (I was somewhat talked into getting them by the assistant). I’m very frightened that I’ll look like George Michael whose aesthetics I never found very appealing (whilst alive NOT dead)

Mr F had a visit from the plods when he was little because he dialled 999, asked for the Flares Brigade, then hung up. He says he got a stern telling-off from the police then a sound thrashing from his dad after they left.

Deffo wound up the operator from phone boxes as a kid in the mid 80s. We weren't clever enough to have Bart Simpson-esque pun names, we just wanted to practice our various accents. For what future purpose these were being practiced wasn't clear to us.

I remember doing pranks at a phone box with my friend but didn't know who to call and didn't want to spend any money so I called 0800 2 15000 as it a jingle I could remember, and told them i hand the wrong number. LARKS.

I did also call 999 as a toddler apparently and left the phone dangling off the hook. :bruised:

That's what I was worried about, I've heard of similar stories where they turn up to check everything is OK. I just apologised profusely so I think he knew I was genuine.

*in jail by tonight*

I thought I’d got a lovely 10 hours sleep but then this reminded me the clocks went forward so I only got 9. OH WELL

At secondary school we used to phone the IRA info hotline and give out fake info. In my opinion that was elevated prank calling and we probably set the path for peace in NI.

How am I STILL snotty and now I have a swollen right eyelid for some reason

Just as well no-one apparently wants to shag me
I've been BUNGED UP for three weeks now. I think it's partly my hay fever hitting very differently this year. It's really fucked with my sinuses as well. Swollen eyes is often an allergy thing as well, isn't it?

It's totally early hay-fever season which I fucking despise. Utterly miserable.

I have several body issues right now, but nothing so serious to justify time off.

Is yours the same as previous years in terms of symptoms?

I was anticipating it this year but didn't get the usual wanting to rip out my own eyeballs which how it has always affected me. It's very much a sinusy head/eye/toothachey thing.

I've become very blocked.

I don't think my mouth ulcer and sore armpit are related :D

My hay fever usually kicks in when we have that first proper heatwave around May/June time. It FLOORED me for about two weeks last year.

I'm an early spring hay fever sufferer as well. Occasionally it gets a bit ITCHY later in the year, but nothing that the cheapest Wilko tablets can't resolve.

I'm ok in terms of hayfever so far - these days, it doesn't get really bad until May/June for me. But that's probably also due to the somewhat more alpine climate I live in now. Everything blooms a few weeks later. But when it does, it's ALL AT ONCE :)

The bike!! :o

P.S loved your seaside fudge display
:( Do you want to buy the bike? My main issue is I have no where to keep to because we don't have a garden.

And thank you. The stupid scraper broke at some point during the fudge making process so we had to scrap the whole batch..so a sandcastle seemed the best way to use it.

Eurgh we have a flea problem.

We've not had one for several years, but when we did, Indorex was the thing that worked for us. And about half the price on amazon that it was from the vet.
