Happy Tuesday. I’m knackered, I had my two kindergarten lessons today, it’s pissing down and very humid so I was DRIPPING


Later a podcast reminded me of Scatman John and I was able to work out exactly when I first had a dick in my mouth - June 1995 :disco:
 
It wasn’t, it was my then-best friend’s scat-free dick on a static caravan holiday with his family, for some reason I remember Scatman’s World on TOTP and we watched The High Life later (:eyes:)
 
Oh wait! It appears that was last August 1995 (can’t have been later because we went back to school)
 
I'm off work for a couple of days, I need to sleep.

I've also had to buy an expensive mattress topper to see if it helps with my elderly back pain :(

Are many moopers affected by the rail strikes? The island trains seem to be the only ones not striking, but then again, they do have the easiest rail job!

I'm arriving back in the UK at about 6pm Thursday, and I've had to book some shitty London Hotel because my train is cancelled. My only other options were bus (fuck off) or renting a car for £500 for the day.

Edit: and now I've just read that Heathrow Express is unlikely that day too. Underground it is.

Ooh @Star , I had my eyes checked in my annual medical, and I did the “Which way is the C pointing?” challenge. I got 1.5 and 1.2, is that good?
 
Lil Kylie had his class photo yesterday and was on the front row. He was asking why he wasn't in the back like his friends. I didn't have the heart to tell him that with his genes he's probably always going to be front row :shy: I told him they wanted him at the front because he was the most handsome.
 
And it's obviously karma that I was planning on faking a shoulder injury that it is my shoulder which is killing me most

Not really, they made the mistake of allowing us to choose our own boat partners, so of course we all chose the people we are friendliest with already.

I did enjoy myself though. It was a beautiful day to be on the river, and we saw otters and kingfishers, herons, geese and swans. And for the first time I remember we had a paid lunch rather than 30 people bring couscous, hummus and pitta bread.

Now I can go back to being antisocial for another year :disco:
 
Loving this gangsta woman's work today, what a gorgeous thread title. And bless Beyonce spurring me on to listen to Robin S remixes at 8 in the morning :disco:

I was reading that it could cost the UK hospitality industry £540 million this week. That makes me very sad considering how much the industry has already suffered in the last 2 years.
 
I am still not at work, probably have another 30 minutes to go. Not entirely confident I’ll get home later either. But I am completely for the strikes

For. They're striking because they're being fucked over. This is the fault of Network Rail (and ultimately Westminster) and we should be supporting our fellow workers.
 
Despite the dire warnings that the roads were due to be packed today and to LEAVE EARLY, the roads were quiet and now I’m early.
 
I've had to reschedule my trip to Devon for the strikes, which has proved a minor ballache. But I absolutely support the strikers.

The teachers were very keen to explain why in my school days and I think it was around the middle school, that I underwent the growth hormone treatment.
It didn't do much cause I still ended up 3cm shorter than the country's average.
 
I've got a really annoying lovely friend who works in marketing/ branding and who has not been involved with any of my new company stuff and has now just torn apart everything that has been done branding wise so far on my new company, I think more because he thinks it's his "job" rather than actually trying to help. I mean, I think he thinks he's helping, but all it's done is make me anxious about the whole damned thing. ARGHHHHHHHHHHH.
