I can see that the copyright on this is 2026 MARIAH. Is that new? Is she an indie queen now? Somebody's Ugly Daughter foretold it.
 
I think it's project by project. She's released some stuff as just MARIAH, others via other channels.

I read on X that the bonus material consists of just 3 extra songs (Including this one) :basil: I do love Mariah for championing her most floppable album though.
 
Did she record new vocals for the remix? Because she sounds fucking atrocious :D I swear I would love the album even more if it weren't for Jim and Lewi's annoying habit of making songs LONGER than they should be, especially when the background track and production traits aren't very engaging. This song and Want You overstay their welcome after 3 minutes (See also Jim and Lewis' handful of Janet songs and the Spice Girls' "...Wanna Have Some Fun"); they aren't screaming to be 6-minute epics, hun.

Last Night a DJ Saved My Life also goes on forever, although that's a different producer.

Not sure when it was recorded but she sounds good for 2001 and great for 2026.
 
Yeah, I noticed that I didn't wince at the vocals, so I'm assuming that they were from the vault.

Glitter is the only pre-2020 album she owns the masters to, so it'll be interesting to see what she does differently with it than with other anniversary albums.
 
Still getting used to the IDMTTYO remix. It's not the most intuitive production to listen to, but I love their voices together.

Regardless, I love her choice of features. She continues to collaborate with R&B singers I've loved for ages, like Kehlani and Rochelle.
 
We need Gen Z streaming giants on every remix so that a Glitter song can finally go #1 on the shart-fra-zi to the beat
 
I can't say I love or have knowingly listened to the full album, but the camp value of having it on my wall is tempting...
 
The album is poor, but FAR WORSE was to come.

The film is HILARIOUSLY shit. I still laugh thinking about the 40 year old cat.
