So this year, the world has gone to shit and everything outside is terrible and awful. Moopy, meanwhile, has gone through something of a renaissance. Old, old members like @funky and @Nancy have crept back in, while newer members like @Soldi and @ZenGiraffe have staged a coup and are wielding their new power with reckless abandon.
Given the heady mix of old and new guards, and the wave of nostalgia we’ve been riding of late, I thought we should have a little contest.

Over the next few days, I want YOU to recommend threads you think are worthy of being immortalised in Moopy Gold. After that, we’ll put it to a vote to see which ones will make the cut. Of course, we could enshrine them all but where’s the competition in that?

The amount going in will depend on how many nominations we get, so don’t be shy.

Please feel free to start nominating, reminiscing and, inevitably, bitterly feuding at your earliest convenience. Don’t forgot to have a peek at the current threads in Gold so you don’t suggest anything that’s already in there.

I‘m here for an in-lounge TIPPING POINT, with the tipping point being the first lounger to have a LIVE NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. Obviously this would support the principles of the Equality Act as those of us who are already a little colourful are more likely to win
 
I need to see Tipping Point. My mother keeps asking me if I watch it (yeah we don’t get ITV here for the 1000th time)

Yes, yes you can. I'd start with him in the middle. A wagging finger always makes someone EVEN MORE HATEFUL errr I mean tough.
