She's been quiet for a while but this new one feels like quite a big pop moment

This is #1 on Spotify NMF, so her label must be banking on a big campaign. Seemingly out of nowhere…
 
It will be interesting to see how this does. Maybe one last big roll of the dice, as it feels like any momentum she had was squandered.

I do really like the song.
 
Nearly 7 million spotify streams but hasn't broken the UK top 75!

Liking this, but she just hasn't broken through has she? Not sure what's not hitting, her songs are always pretty anthemic... they're not very BASIC though. Maybe that's the PROBLEM.
 
I like everything I've heard of hers but I think she could do with finding her own sound. There's a sea of Swift sound-a-likes out there.

The second EP was quite good. Another Lostboy song and Cycles was boppy in a very mildly different way for her.
 


I saw that HMV were selling a version with three bonus tracks and signed poster so cancelled my other order and bought that. It just arrived and it is a fucking CD-R in a cheap card sleeve :evil:
 
Really liking “Anything” at the moment but haven’t listened to the album yet

The whole album is a CD-R in a card sleeve.

It hasn't arrived yet but on a whim in the same order I bought the Dua extended versions CD with signed poster. Now I am suspicious about that too...

That's some bullshit - I'd send that back.
 
I am seeing posters all over London for this album coming out - there just seems no buzz or momentum with the EP and all the singles/tracks since Vertigo?
 
Album is 3 in the midweeks behind Eminem and Travis.

I haven't listened to the whole thing yet but Tears For Fun (co-written with Mr Agnes) is good.

I've added this to my spotify playlist but not listened yet. I do really like her, but lost track with her releases
