Hailstone Sunday

I really am struggling with this weather. I went paddleboarding yesterday in the fucking rain and today was going to get up and go for a swim. Instead, I am watching my now soaking wet life jacket and swimming trunks blowing a hooly on the balcony and listening to torrential rain on the roof.

It’s entirely depressing. I need some fucking sun.

I've been in QUITE A GOOD MOOD since the OFFICE RELOCATION (a change is as good as etc) and also deciding NOT TO GIVE A FLYING FUCK ABOUT ANYTHING OR ANYONE ANY MORE :disco:

I’m listening to a Kiki Dee greatest hits collection and craving a roast dinner.

I'm wrapping and writing father's day and putting off making brunch. Also putting off this week's writing work.

FUCK! FATHER'S DAY! Thank you for the reminder to dig out the card that's been sat in a long forgotten drawer for about THREE YEARS for emergencies JUST LIKE THESE...

Oh that's reminded me it's my niece's birthday tomorrow and I bought a card weeks ago and have completely forgotten where I've put it...

Frankly amazed that my brother hasn't posted a photo of my father's headstone to Facebook yet.

My dad thought it was his birthday so we all went along with it and sang happy birthday in the end, it was easier than keep reminding him it was father's day. He also asked my brother three times "when did you come in?" despite having been sat opposite him, six feet away, for an hour. Each time my brother answered "just now dad", got up and gave him another hug hello.

Awwww :(
