i love it. the singles were fantastic, as was the title track, and it features my favourite haim song and video - if i could change your mind. a hard 9.

A really confident debut which loses a bit of steam in the final third - still a very impressive body of work with style and substance.

i just put it on while i was mopping the floor. there's a raw, youthful energy and musicianship to it that i quite admire.

was actually wondering if days are gone (the song! was it a jessie ware co-write?) isn't actually my favourite of theirs.

the melodies and vocal harmonies throughout are SO TIGHT! they are superb songwriters. gorgeous SUNNY SOUNDSCAPE too.

the title track is just the GREATEST THING EVER.

Yes! Big fan of the first two albums. The third never clicked though, apart from the relegated bonus tracks.

A huge part of the 10s being a wonderful time for pop music for me after a very beige 00s decade that I didn’t really enjoy as much as 80s and 90s. Haim, Jessie Ware, Roisin Murphy, London Grammar, Foxes, Chvrches, Robyn, Florence & Machine, Solange, Disclosure, Lana.... it was a fabulous decade for pop.
