Glassy-eyed automaton and PC Music pioneer Hannah Diamond has been trundling on for a few years releasing random singles, but there have been rumblings that her debut(!) album will finally be released soon so let's have a topic :tongueout:

She's just put out a single called Invisible, which as a slice of robotic melancholy doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel for her but I love it:

Alright, so Invisible mysteriously vanished from the internet later on the same day - apparently it was accidentally released early.

HOWEVER, it's back at midnight! And the video's out tomorrow! And she's also going to announce the album release and a tour!

I'm very excited, particularly for the tour as I had to talk both myself and my friend out of braving the Megabus to see her in Manchester last month...

Stunning video for Invisible, I'm slightly obsessed with her aesthetic:

The album's called Reflections and is out on the 22nd of November.

The album cover is both :disco: and :basil:

Invisible is FANTASTIC as is the video, so happy she’s getting the album out finally (and WHAT A COVER :disco: )

Her pinnacle so far of course remains Fade Away (albeit with Invisible straight in as her second best song). A TOTAL modern day sad-banger to rival the classics.

OMG this album is a DREAM! Pop perfection.

I’m aware most of the tracks have been around for a while, but stitching them together as a body of work works so well and really elevates it all :disco:

I did add on Part Of Me to the end though as it just seems WEIRD without it. I will probably remove The Ending soon too.

Her version of Concrete Angel is my current fave :disco: :disco:

It's fantastic isn't it? I've not had much time with the album yet, but you're definitely right that the songs all work well together (even the older ones).

She's announced a mini-tour for early 2020, and she's finally coming to my neck of the woods :disco:

One of my work colleagues insists on calling her Dannah Himond. There's a good chance she'll be there too.
