Happy Sheena Tuesday

We use WhatsApp so much at work. I counted the other day and I'm in 12 work related WhatsApp groups.
I have to mute mine because I’m scared I’ll say something silly in them

And before anyone asks.

I’M 39.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHEE xxx

Not really sure where to put this, but wanted to share it somewhere. It's an utterly magnificent take down of the word 'woke' by Rakie Ayola, actor in BBC drama The Pact.

I wish when people film stuff on their telly they'd turn the bloody sound up a bit

Just at the optician and the guy was so hot I didn’t even mind him puffing air into my eyes

So Mandy and I really wanted to try and get tickets for Eurovision next year. Obviously we are aware it'll be very hard. But, it looks like even if we did get tickets for the final we couldn't afford to go anyway, because accommodation in the area is unbelievably crazy high!

I need a friend in Liverpool with a nice house...

Still (at least attempt!) to go even if you don’t get tickets. There’s the EuroVillage (the big fan zone where the shows are shown on a big screen) and there’ll be plenty of bars showing the contest so you’ll still get to enjoy the atmosphere/drink lots of alcohol!

There was a partial solar eclipse this morning so I'd taken a couple of pairs of eclipse-glasses to work with me in case it wasn't cloudy. New office lady said "No! Why? Oh my God, I can't believe you've got special glasses for it, you're such a geek!" when I asked whether she wanted to have a look but as soon as all four of the other staff got excited and followed me out again to have a look she changed her tune.

It was a bit of a crappy eclipse but who doesn't love feeling small and insignificant witnessing the cosmos perform its beautiful dance?

But we can't afford to stay anywhere, that's the main issue. Hotels are thousands. I may need to find a campsite 🤔

We’re not looking yet because of the prices, they’ll go down over time!

Ooh ok. In that case maybe I will look at getting tickets. I can always sleep in a bus shelter I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️
