I still have a series 3. I know itโ€™s older but it does what I need it to do. Apple Fitness is all I use to track my movement. Besides that I onot really use the messages part to see when I have texts and the Shazam app to catch songs when I donโ€™t have my phone out.

I've got a Samsung smartwatch, as part of this fitness drive, and because it was cheap when I renewed my phone contract. I do like the Samsung Health app, and it has very much encouraged me to move or exercise more, particularly on days when I otherwise wouldn't be arsed. So I do feel it is doing what I wanted it to in that respect.

I don't really use it for a lot of what it's capable of though. I very much DON'T want to use it for emails, as very little is that important for me that it can't wait until I choose to look at my phone.

I have a Polar Pacer Pro and I do like that it's more a sports/tracker watch - I don't really want any notifications on my wrist.

I quickly realised just getting WhatsApp messages that it would be a major source of anxiety, so I disabled it.

I quite like controlling Spotify from it, without having to get my phone out of my bag.

True - it's relentless! Watch off at night, ON CHARGE. Phone out of pocket at night, ON CHARGE. Headphones off at work, ON CHARGE.

I've got wireless charging pads everywhere in my house, so everything I take off gets slapped on that :D

I keep my watch on at night because I like the sleep tracker. Although to be honest I can see the novelty of that wearing off. Although it has encouraged me to exercise more, it did initially make me attempt to change my sleeping habits, but that wore off after a week or so, so I'm not sure knowing that my sleep animal is a nervous penguin is adding much to the experience.

I have a cheap one that's neither Samsung or Apple. I get notifications and frankly I'm content with that. I don't need another distraction, but I do like having a watch again.

Mr Ag has a Samsung one and it's fucking lovely.

Big fan of my apple watch. It has definitely made me healthier.

I charge mine every night rather than wearing it then, because one week of the sleep tracker was VERY DEPRESSING INDEED.

Are you a nervous penguin as well?

I was hoping for FLIGHTY ANTELOPE

It was actually my first ever wearable - the fitbit (are they still going?) - that put me off sleep trackers. The shit results it was giving me ended up as another thing to stress about at 3am.

Maybe I should try my apple one if I'm going to get an animal out of it. Tired LIGER please

I bought one thinking I'd never use it, and I absolutely love it.

I got a Samsung one for my birthday and thought the same initially. But now I can't do without it. I don't really carry my phone around especially at work as my clothing doesn't allow it. With the watch I can pick up on any urgent messages etc immediately and quite subtly too.

Trying figer sleep thing out so complex just want no sleep less think ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคฃ and charg thing weird mobile saying watch charged 16 mins flat na my mines sesris 7 think newest hope is phone 14 max do guess now

My sleep one is the opposite - it seems to tell me I've had a reasonable night's sleep when I feel like I've had a crap one.

I tried setting sleep targets (particularly in terms of trying to force myself into going to bed earlier), thinking that as I was being very good listening to it and hitting exercise targets, I might do it for sleep as well. But I did so for less than a week and then gave up on it.

Love mine and I use it mostly for the fitness gubbins and occasionally to get freaked out by the high heart rate warning. YES I KNOW ITS HIGH I CAN TASTE COCAINE

I've got somewhat addicted to driving my heart rate up and keeping it there when I'm walking.
