Not quite sure if this belongs here or in indie/alternative but i've been keeping an eye on this girlie for a year or so now. Her track 'The Rhythm' was one of my absolute faves from last year.

She leans on a pretty varied nineties sound - The Rhythm is quite INDUSTRIAL but other tracks are really poppy, some quite dancey, others more indie/britpop. She has a knack of creating soundscapes that are really dreamy and/or atmospheric... I wouldn't be surprised if she has listened to a few Cocteau Twins albums. Quicksand and This Enchanted are other standouts - the letter reminds me so much of stuff like Dubstar.

Wish she would do some live dates outside of the US / Australia!

Hatchie is great, there is a deluxe of the album upcoming I think.

EDIT - oh that is the deluxe!

It is her second album though, this is the first:

She toured the UK late last year, I saw her in November and she was great :disco:

Wish she’d perform ‘Adored’ though, hands down my favourite.

The latest album was discussed here:

She's amazing. Kind of gives me of what I'd want from the resurrection return of my Lord and Saviour Sky Ferreira.
